Vintage footage of Olympic slalom is hard to come by, even given how recent regular inclusion into the games has been. White Water Slalom was first introduced into the Olympics in 1972, and footage of this has been like trying to find hens teeth! However one kind soul has some and has posted it onto YouTube. Highly fascinating to compare it to the modern slalom in last years event!
